Ron Gagliardi, the host of 30 Minutes with Ron, thought it would be cool to have a hypnotist on the show because he has always been fascinated by hypnosis and he thought some of the people in the viewing audience might be fascinated as well…

We chatted a bit about my personal roots and how I became a full time practicing certified hypnotist. We touched on how people may have found me and continue to find me through Cousin Google and what I call “Divine Appointments”.
Around the 10-minute time frame Ron began to direct the conversation towards the exploration of hypnosis. To simply illustrate the natural state of hypnosis I began reminiscing about childhood days laying in the backyard with my neighbors, eating fresh rhubarb from the garden and seeing elephants and clowns and what not in the clouds.
Off I went, (I am a wildly passionate hypnotist) exuberantly talking about how many of our greats intentionally use the natural brain wave pattern of “hypnosis” and well, I was swept away telling a story about how Napolean used to use it in the heat of battle to lead to his troops to victory!!!
Sometimes we just have to get out of our mind to find our mind. That is getting out of the logical analytical left side of the brain and getting into the right side of the brain wherein lies our creativity, fun and maybe even shear genius. And sometimes we just have to “sleep on it”.
Around the 13-minute mark Ron asked me if I could explain the difference between stage hypnosis and what I do. Dear stage hypnotist friends out there, I got this understanding many moons ago from a website of a well known street hypnotist. If need be, I just want you to know, I’m open to some enlightenment from y’all.
SPOILER ALERT – this is the JUICY part of the show! At 16:05 Ron casually said, “I think it’s time in the show that you get to hypnotize me.” Yes, yes, yes! I had the absolute delight to demonstrate what the very natural state of hypnosis really is. You’ll see Ron remained in complete control. Ron could have moved his hands or opened his eyes if he wanted to. Ron spoke to me when I questioned him, and he could have freely spoken anytime he wanted to. Even though we never left the room, Ron saw blue fish and butterflies and ornamental vegetation and well, go ahead enjoy the show!
