When December Feels Like a Lot: Gentle Support for Stress and Overwhelm

December sure can feel like a bit much in many ways. Our schedules can get busy, with more family get-togethers than usual, and we must admit there can be more emotional layers that come with this seasonal month. Even though we may truly treasure the specialness of this time, it can also feel demanding. It’s awful when we feel the stress building in our gut or in those dreaded migraine muscles.

Fortunately, hypnosis can be a gentle way to support our nervous system during times like this. Sessions are orchestrated to help the mind and body release and relax, and reconnect with a sense of groundedness and focus. There is no effort required on your part during a session. All you have to do is breathe while being fully supported by a piece of furniture. If you’re in my office, I think you’ll find the big comfy recliner especially helpful for that​.

To support this process, for the month of December I am offering $25 off one hypnosis session. To make this even more supportive during a busy month, sessions purchased in December may be used at a later time. This allows you to take advantage of the December special ​now, either for yourself or as a gift certificate without needing to fit something else into an already full month. You can choose to schedule when the pace of the season has eased and your body and mind are more ready to truly release and relax. This can be a helpful option if you’re curious about hypnosis but ​know that January or another month may be a better time​.

I offer hypnosis sessions both in person in Milford, Connecticut, and remotely for clients around the world. Remote sessions are just as effective, and some clients enjoy staying with the calm, grounded feeling after a sessio​n by simply enjoying the rest or even taking a nap.
